Events and activities
Gettin' in the GameSM!
Gettin' in the GameSM (GIG) was developed by CSL Behring to help children with bleeding disorders participate in sports and get active. At local GIG events, children and their families get sports tips from our national GIG athletes, all of whom have bleeding disorders. Our athletes want to show children how important exercise and sports are for building muscles — and self-confidence. Children and their families also get to participate in exercises and connect with other children and families with bleeding disorders.
The CSL Behring Junior National Championship
The
Junior National Championship (JNC) is a regional day of sports, fun and family time. JNC has been happening annually since 2002. It is a great way for children with bleeding disorders to get active, enjoy family time and get to know other children with bleeding disorders.
Advocacy
CSL Behring’s LEAD Program
We believe that successful advocacy results when those who are impacted by a particular issue are empowered to effect change. Through the
Local Empowerment for Advocacy Development (LEAD) Program, CSL Behring empowers local organizations to develop the capacity to change public policies that affect the users of plasma-derived and recombinant therapies.
